Day 2: We were honored by again by amazing people today as well. Dr. Jennifer Bryan kicked it off by talk of Risky Business: Physician and Big Pharma it was a very engaging and Interesting topic. Next was Prof. Akiliu Azazh: the founder and father of Emergency Medicine followed the pace with a thing we all face in our career “Starting off a New Emergency Medicine Program in Ethiopia” It’s surely inspirational. We went out for lunch and returned back to a discussion with James Masylak on “The Future of Emergency Medicine” and the Wellness talk. On how to go about our frustrations. Realistic topics we don’t get to talk about often. Then we had a presentation by all young advocates of Emergency Medicine, moderated by myself, Genet Kifle, Daniel Weldu, Asefa Negeri. These 3 people are the DOERS. They made amazing jobs in starting a new EM, ICU, and advocating for that as well. Thank you for driving our field to a higher level. Finally it was time to say thank you and award Ceremony. And finally we got to say Goodbye and closed the program by taking a 360 group picture.
